From 2016 to 2026, Harrow Shanghai has journeyed through its first decade.
Ten years ago, we brought over 450 years of British educational heritage and excellence to the vibrant city of Shanghai. Ten years on, we are preparing to celebrate our 10th Anniversary.

10 Years of Academic Excellence｜A-Level Leading School
The 2026 A-Level results have been released. 72% of all grades achieved A*/A, with 100% of grades in Mathematics, Economics and Chinese achieving A*/A. 44% of pupils achieved A*/A across all their subjects, with several pupils achieving straight A*s.
For the past ten years, Harrow Shanghai has remained deeply committed to A-Level education, providing high-quality teaching and personalised support to help every pupil fulfill their potential and pursue their academic goals.
These results are a reflection of our pupils’ hard work, as well as the dedication of our teaching team over the past decade. Ten years of A-Level expertise and experience have established Harrow Shanghai as a recognised A-Level Leading School among Shanghai’s international schools. From here, our pupils go on to Imperial College London, LSE, and leading universities across North America, Hong Kong, Canada and Australia, embarking on the next chapter of their journeys.

10 Years of Leadership Development｜Leadership for Life
Leadership is a daily practice, reflected in the choices we make every day. Through the Leadership & Service Programme and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Harrow Shanghai encourages pupils to turn six core leadership qualities into meaningful action — Making a positive contribution to community , Applying knowledge with compassion, Solving problems collaboratively, Solving problems creatively, Making just and responsible choices, and Facing challenges with determination.
Over the past ten years, these six qualities have accompanied generations of Harrow pupils as they have stepped beyond the school gates and ventured out into the world.
10 Years of Community Co-creation｜Harrow Community
Harrow is a family. With 97% parental satisfaction, this is the testament to a decade of growing together with more than 1,000 families.
Our community is built on continuous communication with every family: annual parent meetings, weekly parent workshops, regular concerts, parent representative meetings, and a wide range of social events throughout the year.
We believe that school and family are stronger together. A Partnership Built on Trust & Transparency. For ten years, Harrow Shanghai has continued to build a strong home-school communication network where every family has a voice.
Two-way Communications: Online, WeCom and email keep parents connected to class updates, school activities and their children’s progress. Offline, we host 50+ PPPs parent forums, 9 one-to-one PTCs, and 18 Parent Representative Meetings each year, supporting families at every key stage of their child’s journey.
Over the past ten years, Harrow Shanghai has been a home built together by our parents, teachers and pupils. As we embark on the next decade, we hope you will continue to be part of our journey.
10th Anniversary Celebration｜A Special Invitation
On Saturday, 12 September, Harrow Shanghai will celebrate its 10th Anniversary on campus. We warmly invite every family who has been part of our journey, followed our story, or shared an interest in international education to join us on campus as we celebrate ten remarkable years together.

🏫 Campus Tour (10:30–11:00)
Step back in time! Explore iconic exhibits from the past decade — our very first school uniform, historical photos and memorable keepsakes.
🏛️ Official Ceremony (11:00–12:00)
Heartfelt stories and talks from founding parents, current students and distinguished alumni. A special welcome to Kitty Y., who is flying back from Cambridge to share her journey! Plus a surprise finale you won’t want to miss.
🐉 Outdoor Festival & Dragon Dance (12:00–14:00)
Led by a traditional Dragon Dance performance — enjoy live music, delicious food, drinks and lively festive entertainment!
