During this time, I led 3 study tours to China for teachers and students, visiting important cultural and historical sites as well as spending time in schools. After taking time to travel around Australia with my family, I returned to my hometown of the Blue Mountains. I took two years out of teaching to work for an Arts Council England funded company to bring arts projects to areas of artistic deprivation.
