Kitty is now at the University of Cambridge studying Geography.
Joining Harrow Shanghai from the other hemisphere in New Zealand, the opportunities Harrow offers have enabled me to pursue my dream of becoming a Geographer at Cambridge, driven by my interest in cultural intersections and in understanding global issues through an interdisciplinary lens. The teachers are supportive, both academically and in terms of well-being, creating an environment where even the most demanding studies are engaging and rewarding.
Beyond my A-Level studies, my leadership experiences as Head Girl and founder of an international economics society have helped me develop transferable skills that extend far beyond school. I am especially grateful to Mr Reed, the Head of School, for creating a safe space where students can voice their ideas through the Student Council. This opportunity allowed us to engage in hands-on event coordination, an experience that has continued to benefit my involvement in university societies. Looking back, my time at Harrow has been truly memorable thanks to the support of my teachers and the lasting friendships I have formed.
