A Very Harrovian Christmas Celebration

Music and magic were in the air as our Harrow community experienced a marathon of talent and fun during our series of Winter Concerts and Winter Fair.

Harrovians from 18 months to 18 years celebrated this festive season with a wonderful display of musical talent.

To top it off, we successfully launched our inaugural student-led Christmas fair, with a visit from a much anticipated guest!

Christmas Concerts

The event was kickstarted by our youngest and most exuberant Early Years performers who took the stage dressed in a wide array of festive wear.

Their energy and enthusiasm were evident as they danced, clapped and sang delightful festive songs in front of a captive parent audience.

This was quickly followed by our Pre-Prep performers, who presented a variety of Christmas music from all over the world including Australia, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, USA and the UK.

Our Andante and Allegro strings and Pre-Prep choir demonstrated their musical talents in a series of charming performances.

All pupils sang in earnest and unison as they celebrated the “power in the music” and the “spirit in the song.”

In the afternoon, our Upper School took the stage with gusto. Our Senior Orchestra displayed a wide array of intricate works, including a moving violin solo performance by Aegean A.

The youthful voices of the Prep Choir singing in unison and in harmony filled the hall.

Our Senior Chamber Choir made melodious music with their beautifully trained voices.

The concert came to a tremendous finale with a massed choir, further augmented by the return of the Pre-Prep Choir, who sang together in harmony as one Harrow family, united in voice to wish everyone a wonderful Christmas.

Christmas Fair

Throughout the day, pupils and parents had the opportunity to roam through numerous Christmas stalls set up and led by our own students.

All proceeds from the food, games, photo booth and decorations will go to support charity.

A highlight of the fair was a visit and well wishes from none other than Father Christmas himself!

Many thanks to all the teachers and pupils who put in hours of effort to prepare for this momentous occasion! As our term draws to a close, we want to take this time to wish you and your family a restful and peaceful holiday! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
