On Wednesday, 11th October, 63 students from Years 5 to 12 travelled to Qizhong Tennis Centre to watch “Super Wednesday” of the 2017 Shanghai Rolex Masters. The day trip included a tour of the VIP Players’ Area, the Press Centre and a chance to explore all the sponsors’ activity stalls, before settling down to watch a very exciting game on Centre Court between Ryan Harrison and Grigor Dimitrov. Those who stayed for the later games on Centre Court were lucky enough to see Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer play.

We hope that the day motivated and inspired them to pursue their aspirations whether sporting or not, to train and practise, to one day play or perform in front of 15,000 fans.
