The students of Harrows Shanghai Upper School have gifted us a memorable Christmas fair, brought to life with their zeal and creativity. Students’ independent planning and meticulous organization embody Harrow students’ leadership – actively engaging and contributing to the community.” Pupils, ranging from Early Years and Pre-Prep to Upper School, join parents in reveling in moments filled with laughter and festive cheer.
Cozy winter delights, colorful games, creative crafts – the joy never stops. The Upper School students prepared a variety of treats, including heartwarming hot chocolate, non-alcoholic mulled wine, and children’s favourites like popcorn and sweets. The fair was alive with cheer, featuring a range of Christmas-themed games such as blindfolded Santa puzzles, colouring, face painting, archery, guess-the-song, and cookie decorating competitions. A special attraction was the students’ use of their chemistry knowledge to create artificial snow, giving the younger ones a taste of snowman-building fun.
Of course, the eagerly awaited Santa Claus made an appearance. Come and take a photo with the Santa Claus! A special feature at the fair was a Christmas mailbox which is filled with Christmas wishes and festive greetings from children, parents, and teachers, all sent together to Santa Claus.
Additionally, Harrow Shanghai introduced a limited-edition Harrow Christmas little lion, with all proceeds going to charity. The dedication of the Upper School students in selling these items, along with the enthusiastic participation of the Harrow families, helped to spread warmth this winter.
Moreover, our Early Years children personally crafted adorable Christmas cards for their parents, offering a unique holiday surprise.
